K-Pop Wave Hits Taiwan: BIGBANG, BTS, IVE Lead Packed Second Half of 2026 Concert Schedule

Taiwanese fans are gearing up for a "ticket-grabbing war" as a wave of popular South Korean artists and groups are set to perform in the latter half of 2026. From August through early 2027, major venues across Taiwan, including Taipei Arena, Kaohsiung National Stadium, and Taipei Dome, will host a near-weekly schedule of large-scale concerts.

The lineup boasts a star-studded roster, featuring acts like KARA, T.O.P, ITZY, IVE, FTISLAND, Lee Young-ji, Hyeri, Byun Woo-seok, SUPER JUNIOR-83z, STAYC, TWS, LE SSERAFIM, BABYMONSTER, and Stray Kids. Notably, BIGBANG will celebrate their 20th anniversary with a tour, and BTS will return to Taiwan for the first time in years, with their concerts anticipated as the most difficult tickets to secure this year.

September marks a peak in K-pop events, with IVE performing three consecutive nights at Taipei Arena and Lee Young-ji holding two shows at the Taipei Music Center. October will see performances from SUPER JUNIOR-83z, STAYC, and TWS. The highly anticipated BIGBANG 20th-anniversary world tour, "XX: COSMOS," is scheduled for October 10-11 at Taipei Dome, marking their first group concert in Taiwan in many years.

November promises a strong K-wave presence with LE SSERAFIM and BABYMONSTER. Global sensation BTS will hold three concerts at Kaohsiung National Stadium from November 19-22, marking one of the largest K-pop events in Taiwan. Their last performance in Taiwan was in 2018, and anticipation for ticket sales is already high, with some fans resorting to visiting temples to pray for success.

December will feature the AAA Asia Artist Awards in Kaohsiung and Stray Kids' "RUN IT" world tour at Taipei Dome on December 12. The K-wave surge is set to continue into 2027 with BOYNEXTDOOR and another BIGBANG concert in Kaohsiung.
