Kırıkkale Municipality Gives 1,000 Students 2 Million Lira in School-Supply Aid

Kırıkkale Municipality has deposited a total of 2 million Turkish lira into the accounts of families with children who need help with school expenses.

The municipality’s Social Assistance Center identified 1,000 students for the program. Each student received 2,000 lira ahead of the 2026-27 school year.

Mayor Ahmet Önal said the municipality would continue its education support programs. He said the aid would help children with their education and ease pressure on family budgets, while encouraging purchases from local stationery shops.

“This year, too, we are continuing our school-supply assistance before the new academic year,” Önal said. “We deposited support totaling 2 million lira into the accounts of the families of 1,000 students.” He said the municipality aimed to expand its social-municipality approach by supporting students, families and local businesses at the same time.
