Kaduna’s N177bn road project will unlock economic potentials – LGA chairman

The commencement of the N177 billion reconstruction of the 122-kilometer Mando-Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road is poised to unlock the vast agricultural and commercial potential of the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area in Kaduna State, according to council chairman Dr. Salisu Isah. The project, officially flagged off by President Bola Tinubu, is anticipated to reconnect communities, ease the movement of goods, stimulate investment, and generate employment for thousands.

The chairman highlighted that the road's dilapidated state had previously hampered economic activities, particularly in agriculture, the primary livelihood for many residents.
