Kaia Gerber, Living Image of Cindy Crawford, Stars in New Ryan Murphy Series

Kaia Gerber, daughter of iconic supermodel Cindy Crawford, is making her mark in Hollywood, trading the runway for the screen. While sharing a striking physical resemblance to her mother, the 24-year-old has pivoted from a burgeoning modeling career to pursue her passion for acting.

Gerber, who began her modeling journey at age 10 and graced runways for luxury brands, even walking alongside Crawford, now takes center stage in "Fragmentos." This new series, a creation of Ryan Murphy based on Bret Easton Ellis's acclaimed novel, premiered on Disney+ with its first two episodes. The final installment is set to stream on September 9.

The show transports viewers to early 1980s Los Angeles, focusing on a group of affluent students at the elite Buckley School. Their lives are a whirlwind of parties, fine dining, and convertible rides, all while their wealthy parents are away. Amidst this privileged existence, they navigate complex themes of identity, jealousy, obsession, and excess, confronting the end of their adolescence and the cusp of adulthood.

The narrative centers on Bret, an aspiring writer whose world is upended by the arrival of Robert Mallory, a magnetic new student. Mallory quickly becomes the focal point of Bret's inner circle, which includes his girlfriend Debbie Schaffer and best friends Susan Reynolds (played by Gerber) and Thom Wright. Adding to the tension, this social upheaval coincides with a growing terror gripping the city: a serial killer and cults that threaten to shatter the seemingly idyllic lives of these young elites.
