Kalev Signs Former British League Captain Owen McCormack

The Estonian basketball club Kalev has bolstered its roster by signing Owen McCormack, the former captain of the British Basketball League team Bristol Flyers. The move signals Kalev's intent to strengthen its squad with international talent ahead of the new season.

MCCormack caught the eye of Kalev's head coach, Brett Nõmm, during a previous ENBL league game where McCormack played against Kalev with his former club. Bristol Flyers finished sixth in the British league last season with a 15-17 record, and McCormack participated in 29 games, averaging 23 minutes and 9 points per contest, with impressive shooting percentages of 53% from two-point range and 39% from three-point territory.
