A homeowner in Kallithea, Greece, is reeling after renting out a renovated apartment that was returned in a shocking state of disrepair and neglect after six years. The property, initially in excellent condition, was discovered to be a "health hazard" upon the tenant's departure, emitting a strong odor that affected the entire building.

Ultimately, the tenant left after the situation apparently became untenable for them, coinciding with the expiration of the lease agreement.
