Kanal D parts ways: Deniz Bayramoğlu's job terminated

Kanal D has terminated the employment of its main news anchor, Deniz Bayramoğlu. The channel made the announcement just two hours before the evening news broadcast, stating that Aytaç Can would assume the role of presenter for the main news bulletin starting at 7 PM. No official statement was released by Kanal D regarding the reasons for Bayramoğlu's dismissal.

Bayramoğlu, born in 1975 in Malatya, began his journalism career in 1999 after leaving his university studies in Environmental Engineering incomplete. He worked as a reporter and editor for newspapers such as Yeni Binyıl, Demokrasi, Sabah, and Yeni Yüzyıl. He transitioned to television at CNN Türk, initially as a stock market commentator, before hosting his own program, "İş Yemeği." He also appeared on "12-14 Güncel" with Pelin Çift and Alp Özgen. Since 2009, he hosted the daily program "Parametre."

He completed his Environmental Engineering degree in 2005, balancing it with his journalism career. Bayramoğlu is married to Ece Üner, the main news anchor for Halk TV. His most recent role was anchoring the Kanal D main news broadcast.
