Kano PDP Deputy Guber Candidate Quits, Joins APC, Cites Better Platform for Devt

Alhaji Yusuf Dambatta, who previously served as the Deputy governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement released on Saturday in Kano, Dambatta announced his decision, stating that he found the APC to provide a more conducive platform for advancing the state's development. Dambatta, who has prior experience as an adviser to the Senate Committee on National Planning and as a former Commissioner of Budget in the state, expressed optimism about collaborating with APC members and other stakeholders.
