Kaohsiung Man Arrested for Drug Distribution from Home; Large Cache Seized

Kaohsiung police have apprehended a 48-year-old man identified as Chung, who allegedly operated a drug distribution ring from a residential house in the Gangshan district. The arrest followed an investigation into drug trafficking activities in the area.

Authorities executed a search and arrest warrant on the evening of June 10th, locating Chung at his residence. During the raid, officers discovered a significant quantity of illicit substances, including over 4,000 grams of Ketamine, commonly known as "meow meow," two small packets of heroin, and one packet of amphetamines. The seizure also included various tools used for packaging drugs, such as a sealing machine, mixer, and weighing scales.

Chung has been formally charged with violating the Narcotics Hazard Prevention Act. He was transferred to the Qiaotou District Prosecutors Office on June 11th.
