Taiwanese actress Su Yan-pei returned to her hometown of Kaohsiung to attend the Daggangshan Longan Honey Cultural Festival. The actress, known as the "daughter of Kaohsiung," took a break from filming the MinTV drama "Tofu Mom" to participate in the event. She engaged with fans through a live broadcast and enthusiastically recommended local delicacies.

Su Yan-pei praised the rich aroma of the Daggangshan longan honey. She unveiled her personal "ultimate weekend late-night snack combo": fried chicken paired with longan honey. During the festival, Su Yan-pei also demonstrated how to make a "chilled honey lemon sparkling water" with the guidance of Chen Jin-chang, the general manager of the Alian District Farmers' Association. She noted that this refreshing drink, made with Alian longan honey, fresh lemon juice, and sparkling water, paired perfectly with the honey-fried chicken, calling it a "divine partner" for hot summer days.

Kaohsiung City Agriculture Bureau Director Yao Zhi-wang accompanied Su Yan-pei on a tour of the local market, highlighting Daggangshan's reputation as a major longan honey production area in Taiwan, known for its fragrant and naturally sweet honey. The region ensures quality and food safety through an evaluation system and product traceability.
