Karakol plans to buy specialized street cleaning vehicles

Officials in Karakol, Kyrgyzstan, are moving to enhance the city's street cleaning capabilities through the acquisition of specialized equipment. The municipal property management department has announced a tender valued at 34.5 million Kyrgyz soms for the purchase of new machinery.

The planned procurement includes three multifunctional vacuum sweeping machines, designed for efficient street cleaning, and one hydraulic bulldozer intended for operations at the local landfill. This initiative aims to improve urban sanitation and waste management within the city.

Suppliers participating in the tender are required to meet stringent delivery conditions, including DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), which signifies maximum responsibility for the supplier in terms of transportation, customs clearance, taxes, and duties. Furthermore, the equipment must be brand new, manufactured in 2026, and come with a guarantee of at least 24 months. Bids for the tender will be accepted until August 13.
