Karijärve String Orchestra heads to Vienna to celebrate 20th anniversary with performances in famous halls

The Karijärve String Orchestra, based in Estonia's Tartumaa region, is set to embark on a prestigious international journey to Vienna to commemorate its 20th anniversary. The ensemble will participate in the World Orchestra Festival, a significant event for young musicians, scheduled from July 9 to 12.

This festival offers the young musicians a rare opportunity to perform on some of the world's most celebrated stages. Their itinerary includes appearances at the Golden Hall of the Musikverein, the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, and the historic Hofburg Palace, venues synonymous with classical music excellence.

In addition to the public concerts, the Karijärve String Orchestra will also engage in a masterclass. This session will provide them with professional guidance to put the final touches on their competition program, ensuring they are at their best for the festival performances.
