Olubunmi Adigun, 58, expressed his excitement about returning to Kedah, not just to play football but to reconnect with old friends and the loyal fans who have shown him warm hospitality for decades. "I feel like part of Kedah, and I want to connect with the people of Kedah who have given me such warm support and reception throughout my career here," he stated. Datuk Zuraidi Rahim, patron of the Kedah Malay Football Association, noted that the players' aura remains strong, with fans eager to shake hands, take photos, and share memories. This reunion also serves as a morale boost for the legends before they compete in the Langkawi Merdeka Cup.
