Keelung City Appoints Fang Pin-hsuan as New Deputy Spokesperson

Keelung City has appointed Fang Pin-hsuan, a rising star in the local political scene, as its new deputy spokesperson. The appointment highlights a new generation of talent within the Kuomintang party, with Fang bringing a blend of media, public relations, and local administration experience to the role.

Fang, a graduate of Shih Hsin University's journalism program and currently pursuing a master's degree in public relations and advertising, is no stranger to public service. Her previous roles include working as a district officer for the Anle District Office, a committee member for the Keelung City Youth Affairs Committee, and holding leadership positions within the Kuomintang's youth wings at both the city and national levels. Her family background also connects her to local politics, being the daughter of Keelung City Councilor Cheng Kai-ling and granddaughter of Cheng Lin Ching-liang.

With her sweet demeanor and clear speaking ability, Fang is seen as a promising new figure for the "blue camp" – the Kuomintang party. She expressed her commitment to professionalism, integrity, and service in her new role. Fang stated her intention to act as a vital link between the city government and its residents, ensuring that Mayor Hsieh's policies, construction projects, and services are communicated clearly, sincerely, and with warmth. Her goal is to build greater understanding and trust between the government and the public, ultimately contributing to Keelung's betterment.
