Keelung Seeks Developers for Public Urban Renewal Project on Yisan Road

Keelung City has officially announced a public urban renewal project in the Yisan Road area of Zhongzheng District, seeking developers to transform the waterfront along the Tianliao River. This initiative marks Keelung's first publicly solicited urban renewal project, aiming to create a new development node in the city.

The project encompasses state-owned land and property currently managed by Chunghwa Post. The tender for developers is open from now until October 28th. To provide further details and answer potential investors' questions, Keelung City will host a briefing session on August 27th at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel Keelung, on the 19th floor.

This urban renewal effort is expected to revitalize the Yisan Road area, integrating new development with the existing urban landscape along the Tianliao River. The city's proactive approach in seeking private sector participation signals a commitment to enhancing its urban infrastructure and economic vitality.
