Kelantan Police: Understand Thai Laws Before Entering Thailand

Kelantan police are urging Malaysian motorcyclists and drivers to familiarize themselves with Thai traffic laws before crossing the border. The advisory aims to prevent potential detentions and fines resulting from a lack of awareness regarding regulations in Thailand.

State Police Chief Datuk Mohd. Yusoff Mamat highlighted that significant differences exist between Malaysian and Thai vehicle laws. These discrepancies particularly affect aspects such as vehicle modifications, which may be permissible in Malaysia but not in Thailand.
