Ketlerius appointed communication advisor to Savickas in Lithuania

Adomas Ketlerius will serve as a communication advisor to Luko Savickas, the leader of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP), a move that signals a strategic focus on messaging within the party's new direction. Ketlerius confirmed his new role, stating his belief that Savickas's vision for the country's energy sector will bring significant positive momentum and usher in a new phase for the industry. He expressed his decision to apply his long-standing energy expertise within Savickas's team. Previously, Ketlerius held the position of head of communication and marketing at "SBA Grupė," a company involved in furniture and apparel manufacturing, real estate, and investment management, departing from this role in April. Since October 2024, he had been leading the "Vilnius Development Company." Before that, Ketlerius spent six years as the head of Corporate Communications at "Ignitis grupės." His career also includes prior experience in the media sector, working for news agencies and the portal "Alfa.lt." This appointment comes in the wake of the Seimas confirming the government program led by Mindaugas Sinkevičius, the chairman of the LSDP. Following the program's approval, the new prime minister and the 21st cabinet members were sworn in. The previous government, led by Inga Ruginienė, resigned due to a reshuffling of the ruling coalition, prompting Sinkevičius to take the helm of the new ministerial cabinet.
