KFC offers buy-one-get-one deals; Popeyes launches pineapple chicken sandwich

Fast-food chain KFC is rolling out a Father's Day promotion starting July 28, offering a "Buy 1 Bucket, Get 1 Box" deal. This special includes five pieces of their signature "Kala Crispy Chicken" and a box of six original egg tarts for a discounted price of 299 yuan, down from the original 649 yuan.

Beyond the Father's Day special, KFC is also providing app-exclusive "Fried Wednesday" deals for members of its PK Double Card program. On July 29, customers can get a second "Vanilla Paper-Wrapped Chicken" at 30% off, priced at 170 yuan, and an original egg tart buy-one-get-one-free offer. August 5 will feature a "Peanut Lava Kala Chicken Burger" paired with an original crispy chicken burger, along with a buy-one-get-one-free deal on Colonel's chicken nuggets.

Meanwhile, Popeyes, a fried chicken brand originating from Louisiana, is introducing its summer limited-edition "Brioche Pineapple Spicy Leg Burger." This new item incorporates pineapple into their classic fried chicken, featuring a sweet and spicy flavor profile with grilled pineapple, Popeyes' signature hand-battered chicken thigh, buffalo sauce, lime mayonnaise, and fresh lettuce.

Popeyes is also offering the "Pineapple Spicy Wave Double Meal" for 299 yuan. This meal includes the Brioche Pineapple Spicy Leg Burger, a piece of their classic fried chicken, a small fries, and a classic lemonade. The new items will be available at all Popeyes locations starting July 29.
