KFC Singapore launches Pokemon merch and Japanese-inspired menu for limited time

KFC Singapore is set to delight fans with a limited-time collaboration featuring the popular Pokemon franchise. Running from August 19 to September 29, the partnership introduces a range of merchandise and a new Japanese-inspired menu.

The first wave of merchandise, available from August 19, includes Pokemon Reversible Everyday Blind Pouches. These pouches, disguised as Poke Balls, transform into Pikachu, Eevee, Mew, or Snorlax when turned inside out, with the character determined by luck. These can be purchased with a Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box at most KFC outlets.

A second, more substantial merchandise drop is scheduled for September 9. This includes a S$99 Pokemon Evolution Jacket, featuring a Poke Ball design on the front and a Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard graphic on the back. Availability is limited and restricted to specific outlets with the purchase of a Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box.

Other items launching on September 9 include a S$12.95 Poke Ball Bucket, suitable for carrying snacks or fried chicken, available with a 5-pc Chicken Bucket. Pokemon Gaming Chopsticks in Pikachu and Gengar designs will be offered via delivery with Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites orders. Additionally, Pikachu Car Neck Pillows will be sold at selected drive-thru and extended-hours outlets.

Complementing the merchandise, KFC Singapore is also introducing a new Japanese Nanban menu, featuring a Zinger burger, chicken bites, and loaded fries. Diners can also receive a complimentary Pokemon sticker sheet with selected breakfast meals before 11 am, starting August 19. Five KFC outlets will also receive themed makeovers inspired by different Pokemon types.
