Khamenei in critical condition, may be near death: IranWire

Reports from IranWire suggest that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, is in critical condition and potentially near death. The London-based news site, which collaborates with Iranian diaspora journalists and internal contacts, cited two sources close to the administration of President Masoud Pezeshkian.

These sources claim that Mojtaba Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, has not met with any government members since a U.S. attack on his complex on February 28, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of his father and other family members. This alleged absence has fueled persistent rumors within the highest levels of the regime regarding Khamenei's extremely critical health status and the possibility of his imminent death.

Since assuming leadership of the country, Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared in public or delivered any speeches. The only communications attributed to him have been letters published by official news agencies. This lack of public engagement has significantly amplified speculation about his health and the survival of the Islamic Republic's third Supreme Leader.

A source close to Pezeshkian's government confirmed that no government members have met with Mojtaba Khamenei. The source described his physical condition as precarious, stating, "We would not be surprised to soon learn of his martyrdom."
