Thailand School Shooting: Teen Kills Six, Including Teachers and Students, Before Suicide

A horrific school shooting north of Bangkok has left at least six people dead, including three teachers and three students. The perpetrator, identified as a 14-year-old student, also injured 22 others before committing suicide. Police reported that the teenager first killed his grandparents using his grandfather's firearm before carrying out the attack at the educational institution.

Details regarding the exact number of victims and the nature of their injuries remain somewhat varied, with different authorities providing conflicting figures. The Minister of Health stated that nine individuals are in critical condition. Some reports suggest that certain injuries were sustained from falls during the chaos, and it is not yet clear how many were directly hit by gunfire.

According to police, the suspect fired 26 shots during the attack, and an additional 34 bullets were found at the scene. This incident marks the second armed assault on a school in Thailand this year, following a previous attack in February that resulted in the death of one teacher and injuries to a student.
