Kifisia, Niki Volou, and Nestos Chrysoupolis Reach Greek Cup League Phase

Three Greek football clubs, Kifisia, Niki Volou, and Nestos Chrysoupolis, have successfully secured their spots in the League Phase of the Greek Cup, advancing past their respective opponents.

Kifisia demonstrated a commanding performance, defeating Zakynthos with an emphatic 6-1 scoreline. Goals from Yagne, Sagal, and Polykratis gave them a comfortable lead by halftime. Although Zakynthos managed to pull one back through Silva, Kifisia extended their advantage in the second half with goals from Antonise, Theodoridis, and Beni, sealing a decisive victory.

Niki Volou's progression was more hard-fought, requiring a penalty shootout to overcome Panionios. After a goalless draw in regular time, goalkeeper Thanasis Garavelis emerged as the hero, saving two penalties to guide his team to a 3-1 victory in the shootout. This win propels Niki Volou into the next stage of the competition.

In a historic achievement, Nestos Chrysoupolis clinched their first-ever qualification for the Greek Cup League Phase. They secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Apollon Kalamarias, with Gkoumas scoring the decisive goal in the 51st minute. This landmark win marks a significant milestone for the club.
