Kim Soo-hyun Resumes Activities After Year-Long Hiatus, to Film Philippine Brand Ad

South Korean actress Kim Soo-hyun is set to resume her entertainment activities after a hiatus of approximately one year. Her first official engagement will be a commercial shoot for the prominent Philippine fashion brand 'Bench' in July.

Kim Soo-hyun had suspended her career following allegations related to her past relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron, which surfaced in March of the previous year. These allegations included claims of dating while Kim Sae-ron was a minor and accusations of debt collection pressure. Kim Soo-hyun's agency has consistently denied these claims as baseless.

The situation took a new turn recently as Kim Soo-hyun's agency announced their intention to pursue legal action, including increasing a damages claim against YouTuber Kim Se-eui of 'Garo Sero Institute' to 30 billion won. Kim Se-eui was recently taken into custody on charges of spreading false information, including allegations that Kim Soo-hyun's actions contributed to Kim Sae-ron's death.

Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, stated, "We have finally proven the truth through due legal process and thorough investigation." The agency also plans to continue legal proceedings, having raised their damages claim against Kim Se-eui from 12 billion won to 30 billion won.
