Kipling opens new Taipei store at SOGO Dà Jù Dan, featuring pink and monkey designs

Belgian bag brand Kipling has expanded its presence in Taipei with a new store opening at the SOGO Dà Jù Dan department store. The new counter, located in the recently opened "Far Eastern Garden City" complex, embraces a vibrant fuchsia color scheme, reflecting the brand's signature lively personality within an open-concept space.

Kipling is also introducing its 2026 autumn/winter collection, featuring versatile warm camel brown and a retro blue to brighten darker seasonal outfits. A standout addition is the playful monkey-shaped bag, inspired by the brand's iconic jungle monkey mascot, which originated from "The Jungle Book." This season, the monkey transforms from a charm to a bag's main feature, appearing in the new ENERGY series with JANE ENERGY and PAUL ENERGY models.

The JANE ENERGY and PAUL ENERGY bags showcase the monkey's silhouette as the bag's body, complete with playful hand and foot details. The larger JANE ENERGY offers zippered storage in the monkey's face and belly, while the mini PAUL ENERGY can be carried by hand or worn as a backpack. Both are crafted from Kipling's signature 420D crinkle nylon, known for its durability, ease of cleaning, and water-repellent properties, ensuring practicality and lightness for daily use.

In addition to the novelty monkey bags, Kipling is offering classic styles like the GABBY S crossbody bag, SEOUL LAP backpack, CITY POCKET S backpack, and MACI waist bag in the new autumn/winter colors of retro blue and warm camel brown. These additions cater to various needs, from casual outings to daily commutes, providing stylish and functional options for the urban dweller.
