Klaipėda's Riverside Park Opens After $140,000 Renovation of Dangė Embankment

Klaipėda has unveiled a newly renovated section of the Dangė River embankment, transforming the area into an attractive public space known as Riverside Park. The project focused on the stretch near the 'Klaipėdos baldų' factory, enhancing the urban landscape for residents and visitors.

This revitalization effort was a joint initiative between the company 'SBA Home' and the Klaipėda city municipality. Together, they invested more than 140,000 euros to upgrade the infrastructure along the riverfront. The park now boasts improved pathways and seating areas, making it a more welcoming environment.

A unique feature of the new park is the 'Window to Production' exhibit. This installation provides the public with a view into the furniture manufacturing processes at the adjacent factory, offering a behind-the-scenes look at industrial operations. The project aims to blend urban development with an appreciation for local industry.
