KMT Chairwoman to Lead Delegation to U.S. for Diplomatic Outreach

Kuomintang (KMT) Chairwoman Sylvia Chang is set to lead a delegation on a 16-day visit to the United States, departing on the evening of June 1. The trip aims to bolster diplomatic relations and enhance Taiwan's international profile.

Lee Shih-chuan, a candidate for New Taipei City mayor, expressed support for the initiative. "Promoting the Republic of China's diplomacy and allowing the international community to see the Republic of China, any opportunity to go out is a good thing," Lee stated when asked about Chang's upcoming visit and Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an's anticipation for the trip.

The delegation's visit is intended to facilitate diplomatic exchanges and provide a platform for the international community to recognize Taiwan's presence on the global stage.
