Koepka joins TGL's expansion Motor City Golf Club

Brooks Koepka, a five-time major champion and former world number one, is set to join the TGL indoor golf league's expansion team, Motor City Golf Club. The announcement was made on Wednesday, marking Koepka as the inaugural player for the Detroit-based team.

Koepka is scheduled to tee it up for Motor City's debut season in 2027. This move into the tech-infused indoor golf league comes after a significant shift in his career trajectory. He rejoined the PGA Tour in January, having previously left LIV Golf in December.

Despite his return to the PGA Tour, Koepka experienced a challenging season, missing the PGA Tour playoffs and finishing 94th in the season-long standings. The addition of more players to Motor City's roster is expected in the coming months, as the team prepares for its inaugural competition.

Motor City Golf Club is one of seven teams that will compete in the TGL's 2027 season. The league, known for its innovative approach to golf, promises a unique experience for players and fans alike.
