Kogi East APC leaders back Tinubu, Senator Echocho for 2027 re-election

Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi East have declared their support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Senator Jibrin Isah, popularly known as Echocho, ahead of the 2027 general elections. The group cited the senator’s impactful constituency projects and grassroots interventions across the district as reasons for their endorsement.

In a statement issued on Friday, the group’s representative, Ibrahim Mohammed, said Senator Echocho’s performance in office has strengthened the APC’s standing in Kogi East. He stated that the senator’s developmental initiatives in education, agriculture, and rural infrastructure have resonated with constituents. These projects will form a major part of the party’s campaign message for the next election cycle.

According to the stakeholders, these projects reflect the objectives of President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” which focuses on economic recovery, infrastructure development, and social welfare. "Sen Echocho’s performance has made our job easier. By showcasing these tangible projects, we are confident that the people of Kogi East will stand with the APC and President Tinubu to continue the journey of national development," the statement added. Senator Isah is currently serving his second term representing Kogi East in the National Assembly.
