Kolin Hearing Aids donates AI devices to Hsinchu County's hearing-impaired

Kolin Hearing Aids has donated NT$2 million worth of high-quality AI digital hearing aids to disadvantaged residents in Hsinchu County who have hearing impairments. The Hsinchu County government, represented by Deputy Secretary-General Chen Wei-chih and Director of the Department of Elderly Care and Long-Term Care Xu Yu-ting, accepted the donation and presented a thank-you plaque to the Kolin Group.

Chen Wei-chih stated that the donation was actively facilitated by Mo Su-juan, honorary chairman of the ROC Association for Hearing Health, enabling assistance for county residents with hearing disabilities. Kolin Hearing Aids manager and audiologist Tsai Chih-hsin explained that wearing hearing aids improves auditory reception and communication quality, which helps maintain social interaction and life participation. It can also reduce the risk of cognitive decline, depression, and social isolation associated with hearing loss.
