Korčula hosts 'Na salatu, vol. 2' concert in memory of Jakša Denoble

Korčula will host the "Na salatu, vol. 2" concert on June 21, marking World Music Day and the official start of summer. This event, held at the Plokata venue, is dedicated to the memory of local songwriter Jakša Denoble.

U znak sjećanja na našeg člana, prijatelja i kantautora Jakšu Denoble, na pozornicu će ponovno stati devet korčulanskih izvođača i bendova, koji će publici predstaviti svoje autorske pjesme i pokazati vam dio bogate lokalne glazbene scene.

Nine Korčula-based artists and bands, including Luky, Neli, Arteria, and Metanome, are set to perform their original music. The concert is organized by the association MADE in Korčula in collaboration with the Korčula Tourist Board.

Organizers emphasize that "Na salatu" is more than just a summer concert; it's a platform for Korčula's musicians to display their creative output and the strength of their original work. They highlight the island's unique and vibrant original music scene, suggesting it rivals that of much larger cities. The association expressed gratitude for the continuous support from the Korčula Tourist Board and the City of Korčula, stressing the importance of audience recognition and support for the event's success.
