Korea Cyber University Holds Korea-China Education Exchange Meeting

Korea Cyber University hosted a meeting on September 2 to discuss ways to expand education exchanges between South Korea and China.

The meeting took place at the university’s Hwa-jeong Hall on its Gyedong campus in Seoul. Ma Gui-sheng, a minister-counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in South Korea, attended as a guest alongside university officials and representatives from Korea University’s Sejong Campus.

Participants shared views on education in the two countries and discussed cooperation to deepen mutual understanding among Korean and Chinese young people. They explored ways to expand international exchange through online higher education, including university-level programs in Korean and Chinese language education and cultural understanding.

After the meeting, Ma delivered a special lecture at the campus studio titled “Korea-China Education Exchange and the Future of Korean and Chinese Youth.” The lecture addressed the significance of bilateral education exchanges and the role young people from both countries may play in future society.
