South Korea and Poland are deepening their strategic partnership, with defense industry cooperation emerging as the cornerstone of their bilateral relations. During a summit in Seoul, President Lee Jae-myung and Prime Minister Donald Tusk reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties, particularly in the defense sector. This collaboration is not merely symbolic; it is underpinned by substantial agreements, including a landmark $44.2 billion arms deal signed in 2022, which has seen South Korean-made K2 tanks, K9 howitzers, and FA-50 light attack aircraft deployed to defend Polish territory.
