Korean Sport & Olympic Committee celebrates 106th anniversary with awards ceremony

The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) marked its 106th anniversary with a commemorative awards ceremony held at the London Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. The event, which took place on the afternoon of July 27, aimed to recognize and express gratitude for the significant contributions made by various individuals to the advancement of sports in South Korea.

During the ceremony, awards were presented to 15 individuals recognized for their outstanding contributions to sports. Additionally, the committee honored exemplary employees and those who have excelled in labor-management relations, acknowledging their dedication and service within the organization and the broader sports community.

KSOC President Yoo Seung-min presided over the event, highlighting the committee's long history and its ongoing commitment to fostering athletic excellence and promoting sports participation across the nation. The celebration underscored the collective efforts that drive the progress of Korean sports.
