Kosgoro 1957 Finalizes Agenda for Grand Deliberation

Kosgoro 1957 is actively preparing for its upcoming 5th Grand Deliberation (Mubes V), scheduled for June 2026 in Jakarta. This quinquennial event, crucial for the founding organization of the Golkar Party, is envisioned as a period of consolidation and a determinant of the organization's future trajectory. Dave Akbarshah Fikarno Laksono, the Chairman of Kosgoro 1957, highlighted the importance of a plenary meeting on April 28, 2026, as a key step in ensuring the organization's readiness and commitment to a democratic and transparent Mubes.

The plenary session will not only address technical preparations but also underscore the significance of reaching decisions through deliberation and consensus. La Ode Safiul Akbar, Chairman of the Presidium of the Central Executive Body (PPK) of Kosgoro 1957, described Mubes V as a strategic forum for formulating the organization's programs for the next five years. He stated, "Kosgoro 1957 must become a solution for facing challenges and winning the future by preserving its roots, reading the times, and preparing its successors."

Akbar emphasized the need for Kosgoro 1957 to enhance its roles in cadre development and economic empowerment to remain relevant amidst evolving times. He specifically encouraged the strengthening of modern, digitally-based cooperatives to support the growth of young cadres and the broader community economy. Furthermore, he believes Kosgoro 1957 should serve as a platform for collaboration between the government, businesses, and the public, implementing programs that are adaptive to economic and technological advancements. "Kaders of Kosgoro 1957 must be problem solvers for the community, not just political machines during elections," he added.

The organizing committee confirmed that preparations for Mubes are progressing, and they anticipate active participation from all organizational elements to ensure the success of this significant agenda.
