KSMR Kangar U-15 Futsal Team Advances to 2026 Milo Grand Final

The KSMR Kangar futsal club has achieved a significant milestone, with its under-15 team successfully qualifying for the prestigious 2026 Milo Futsal Carnival Grand Final. The national-level competition is scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur in July.

This commendable achievement comes after the team showcased impressive performance at the Milo futsal carnival held in Perlis. Competing in the under-16 category, KSMR Kangar emerged as the runners-up, earning them a coveted spot in the grand final.

In a tightly contested final match, KSMR Kangar faced Kota Seputeh from Kedah. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, forcing a penalty shootout. Ultimately, Kota Seputeh emerged victorious, winning the shootout 2-0, denying KSMR Kangar the regional title.

Despite the narrow loss in the Perlis carnival final, the team, coached by Mohd Hafizal Musa, remains focused on their next challenge. They are set to compete in the grand final in Kuala Lumpur with the ambition of clinching the national championship.
