KTU Alumni Elect Ebenezer Doku as National President

The Koforidua Technical University (KTU) Alumni Association has a new leader at its helm. Ebenezer Doku emerged victorious in the election for National President, securing a two-year term during the association's fifth annual delegates' conference held in Accra.

Doku garnered 30 of the 56 votes cast, surpassing three other contenders. His victory signifies a mandate from the alumni to lead the association forward. The conference, themed 'Unity in a Strong Alma Mater: A Bond for University Development,' underscored the collective desire to bolster the university's standing.

The foundation has been built. What we need now is a strong and united front to address the numerous challenges confronting our alma mater.

Addressing the members, Doku, a former Municipal Chief Executive for Adentan, stressed the importance of unity and an all-inclusive administration. He acknowledged the foundational work laid by previous executives but highlighted the need for a stronger, united front to tackle the challenges confronting KTU and enhance its global competitiveness. His pledge to foster greater engagement aims to mobilize the alumni network more effectively for the benefit of their alma mater.
