Kumuyi urges peace, security as GCK crusade holds in Ogun

Pastor William Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, has urged for peace, security, and progress in Nigeria as the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) prepares to hold in Ogun State.

Kumuyi made these remarks during a visit to the traditional ruler of Ota, Prof. Adeyemi Obalanlege, in anticipation of the crusade set to begin on Wednesday at the Anglican Grammar School in Ota. Responding to journalists about the nation's security situation, the cleric emphasized that peace and security are universal desires for all citizens. He affirmed that prayers are ongoing for divine intervention in the country's affairs.

He noted that the Lord had guided the church's decision to hold the crusade in Ogun State at this time.

The Lord laid it on our hearts that this is the time for Ogun State. This is Ogun State’s time.

The international evangelist expressed optimism that the crusade would bring transformation, salvation, healing, and solutions to the challenges faced by individuals and families. He mentioned that the GCK outreach has already reached numerous states across Nigeria and several countries internationally. As part of the Ota outreach, free medical services will be provided, including treatments, eye surgeries, and other surgical procedures, administered by a team of doctors, nurses, and specialist experts.

Oba Obalanlege welcomed Kumuyi and his delegation, expressing confidence that their visit and the crusade would foster spiritual transformation and promote peace within the Ota community. He believes that individual transformations resulting from the crusade will positively impact the town's peace and development.
