Kuwait's Armed Forces successfully intercepted hostile ballistic missiles and drones that entered the country's airspace early Sunday, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Defense. The ministry issued Statement No. 77, confirming that the threats were neutralized as part of ongoing defensive operations.

The statement further described the events as "heinous Iranian aggression" that continued to target civilian and vital installations within Kuwait. Attacks reportedly struck facilities belonging to the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, causing fires and significant damage to key infrastructure sites. The Armed Forces emphasized their readiness to perform their duties with the highest level of efficiency.
