Kuwait Club opens London camp with defeat; Al Arabi prepares for Pyramids friendly

Kuwait Club commenced its pre-season training camp in London with a narrow 1-0 defeat against English club Milton Keynes. Head coach Alexandre Santos utilized the friendly match to assess player fitness and experiment with tactical formations ahead of the upcoming season.

The "White" team has been conducting double training sessions in London as part of their preparations. Their schedule includes further friendlies against Portsmouth and Barnet. Kuwait Club is focused on defending its league title in the new Kuwait Premier League season, which starts on August 25, and also competing in the AFC Champions League Two.

Meanwhile, Al Arabi is engaged in a joint training camp in Turkey. They are scheduled to play a friendly against Egyptian side Pyramids FC. This match follows previous friendlies in Turkey, including a win against Amed Spor and draws against Van Spor and Erzurumspor.

Al Arabi will remain in Turkey until the end of the week before traveling to India for an AFC Champions League Two playoff match against East Bengal on August 12. The team will then return home to continue preparations for their domestic Zain Premier League campaign. The Asian Football Confederation has assigned a Tajikistan refereeing team for the Al Arabi vs. East Bengal match.
