Trabzonspor makes €17million offer to sign Salah after Besiktas talks collapse

Trabzonspor, a Turkish football club, has reportedly made a significant move to acquire Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, submitting an official offer of €17 million. This development comes after negotiations between Salah and fellow Turkish club Besiktas reportedly collapsed.

According to reports from Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu and French outlet Foot Mercato, Trabzonspor has directly engaged with Salah's representative, Ramy Abbas. The proposed deal includes a two-year contract with an annual salary of €17 million, which translates to approximately 994.5 million Egyptian pounds. This financial package is understood to be more lucrative than the one previously put forth by Besiktas.

Besiktas had initially proposed a one-year deal, with an option for an additional season. Reports from the Daily Mail suggested their offer was around €12 million per year, supplemented by performance-related bonuses. Trabzonspor's enhanced financial proposal now positions them favorably in their pursuit of one of the sport's prominent figures.
