Kuwait extends bid deadline for Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Causeway project to Sept. 22

Kuwait's Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) has extended the submission deadline for bids related to the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Causeway. The new deadline is September 22, moved from the original August 25 date. This extension is intended to facilitate comprehensive management, operation, and maintenance services for the significant infrastructure project.

The tender seeks to secure a contractor responsible for the upkeep of the bridge, its associated facilities, and infrastructure. This includes ensuring the availability of necessary materials, equipment, labor, and specialized technical personnel required to execute the work according to the contract's specifications. The scope of work encompasses temporary, additional, supplementary, and modification works essential for the causeway's operation and maintenance.

Furthermore, the contract will involve the operation and maintenance of various buildings and facilities connected to the causeway. These include truck weighing stations, a visitor center, and other related structures. The Ministry of Public Works will meticulously review the submitted bids upon their receipt.

Following the review process, the ministry will present its recommendation for the bid that best meets the tender's requirements.
