Kuwait heightens readiness, focuses on border protection

Kuwait is heightening its security readiness, with a particular focus on border protection. Major General Hamad Al-Munaifi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Security Affairs, recently toured key security sectors. His visits to the Private Security Sector, Correctional Institutions and Border Security Sector aimed to review work progress and operational preparedness.

During the tour, officials briefed Al-Munaifi on the departments' duties and procedures. He assessed the sectors' readiness to execute their assigned tasks, discussing their needs and requirements for improving performance and efficiency. A significant portion of the discussions centered on the Border Security Sector's efforts to safeguard Kuwait's frontiers.

Al-Munaifi emphasized the necessity of maintaining a high level of preparedness and ensuring security personnel perform their duties competently. He acknowledged the dedicated efforts of those in the Private Security and Border Security sectors for their contributions to Kuwait's overall security system.
