Kuwait Security Teams Mobilized to Ensure Smooth and Safe Muharram

Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has put its security forces on high alert to ensure the safety and smooth running of events during the month of Muharram. Undersecretary Major General Abdul Wahab Al-Wahib personally inspected several Husseiniyas, religious gathering places, across the country on Tuesday.

Al-Wahib's tour was a direct response to directives from First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef. The goal is to bolster the security system and guarantee the safety of all participants and visitors throughout Muharram. During his inspections, the Major General reviewed security deployment plans, crowd management strategies, and the systems in place to manage visitor flow in an orderly manner.

He commended the high level of preparedness and the visible security presence of the ministry's personnel. Al-Wahib also highlighted the effective coordination among the various authorities involved in securing the events. He urged Husseiniya officials and organizers to fully cooperate with security personnel, emphasizing that the security forces are there to protect public safety, lives, and property.

The Ministry of Interior stated that it will continue to increase its field presence throughout Muharram to uphold security and ensure seamless event operations. The ministry also acknowledged and praised the cooperation received from Husseiniya officials and organizing committees, recognizing their contribution to achieving the highest safety standards for all attendees.
