Kuwaiti Doctor's Professional Misconduct Leads to 3-Month Dental Center Closure

Kuwait's Ministry of Health has ordered the closure of a dental center for three months, a decision stemming from confirmed professional misconduct by the facility's license holder and medical director. The Ministry of Health, under Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, issued directives to implement the Medical Liability Authority's ruling after specialized inspection committees identified serious violations.

The ministry stated that the Medical Liability Authority notified them of the technical committee's findings, which substantiated the misconduct. Consequently, the center faces a three-month closure penalty. This action follows a previous temporary closure order and referral of the case to the Medical Liability Authority, in accordance with laws governing medical practice and patient rights.

This enforcement action underscores the ministry's commitment to upholding legal standards and the decisions of competent authorities.
