During a luncheon hosted by farmer Mohammad Al-Mutairi in Al-Wafra, attendees, including prominent journalist Ahmed Al-Jarallah, discussed the progress and needs of Kuwaiti farmers. The Head of the Kuwaiti Farmers Union, Ahmed Al-Adwani, highlighted the union's commitment to improving services and noted recent budget surpluses. He also shared positive news regarding the renewal of the committee managing the union and the upcoming redistribution of subsidized diesel based on farm needs.

The Kuwaiti Farmers Union’s doors are open to all farmers to share their views and suggestions on improving the union’s services in all agricultural sectors.

Dr. Ahmed Zaid Al-Azmi, former Chairman of the Wafra Agricultural Association, praised the union's leadership and the support from government officials. He expressed hope for continued achievements in the agricultural sector. Farmer Mohammed Al-Mutairi specifically thanked Al-Jarallah for his newspaper's coverage of farmers' concerns and noted the swift distribution of subsidized diesel and overdue cash support payments. He emphasized the need for continued support and development in the sector.
