Kwam 1's alleged baby mama ready for DNA test, denies lawsuit

Ogechi Eleana, who claims to be the baby mama of Fuji music star Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam 1, has publicly stated her readiness for a DNA test to determine the paternity of her 12-year-old daughter, Azizat. Eleana made these remarks during a YouTube interview with Feel Right News TV, addressing recent controversies, including allegations that she sued the singer and the ongoing paternity dispute.

Eleana refuted claims that she has taken Kwam 1 to court, asserting that she is not a "troublesome person" and has focused on raising her daughter. She stated that she is unaware of any lawsuit filed against the musician. Instead, she revealed that individuals, allegedly acting on Kwam 1's behalf, recently inquired about her daughter's school preferences and requested a copy of her National Identification Number (NIN).

If it’s a DNA issue, I’m open to it; let’s do a DNA test. That’s not a big deal; my daughter is here, and I’ll take her for testing.

The controversy resurfaced after Eleana publicly accused Kwam 1 of impregnating her, abandoning her and their daughter, and ceasing all communication. These claims ignited widespread debate on social media, with many Nigerians urging the musician to address the allegations or agree to a DNA test. Kwam 1, 69, has neither confirmed knowing Eleana nor acknowledged a romantic relationship, but his recent performance comments, "Anybody with an unnecessary pregnancy is a gift," were interpreted by many as a response to the allegations, sparking further criticism despite his saxophonist denying the remarks were directed at Eleana.
