Kwankwaso Welcomes APC Defectors into NDC in Kano

Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, vice-presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), welcomed a group of defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Madobi Local Government Area of Kano State into his party on Sunday. Kwankwaso, a former Kano State governor, shared his elation on his official X account, stating, "I was elated to receive a group of defectors from Madobi Local Government who have left the APC to join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC)."

Photographs from the event depicted Kwankwaso, adorned in white traditional attire and his signature red-and-white cap, addressing a large crowd of supporters alongside Nasiru Gawuna, the NDC's Kano Central senatorial candidate. Many supporters in the images wore the red caps associated with the Kwankwasiyya movement, cheering enthusiastically.
