Kyiv defense factory and warehouses destroyed in Russian missile strike; company vows to rebuild

Kyiv was struck by Russian ballistic missiles overnight on July 18-19, causing significant damage, including the complete destruction of the UKRTAC defense factory and its warehouses. The company's founder, S. Dangadzė, reported the devastating impact, stating, "After a direct missile strike, the 'UKRTAC' factory and our warehouses were completely destroyed."

Despite the catastrophic loss of buildings, equipment, and property, Dangadzė highlighted the most crucial outcome: no employees were killed during the attack. He stressed that the company's team, experience, and professional competence remain intact. "We will not give up. We will rebuild. We will continue to work. And we will do everything possible to make 'UKRTAC' even stronger," Dangadzė declared, vowing resilience in the face of destruction.

The attack on Kyiv, which also damaged residential buildings and vehicles, was described by Ukraine's Supreme Rada and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as the most significant blow of the full-scale war thus far.
