KYK Scholarship and Loan Applications for 2026-2027 Not Yet Open, Amounts Expected to Increase

University students eagerly await the opening of applications for the KYK scholarship and loan for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. While the exact start date remains unannounced, it is anticipated to follow the release of supplementary preference results for the YKS university entrance exam.

Official communication regarding the application schedule is pending from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Students are advised to monitor official announcements for the precise timeline. To apply, students must use the e-Devlet platform. Those without an e-Devlet password can obtain one from PTT branches or use alternative login methods like internet banking or mobile signatures.

During the application process, students will provide information about their economic, social, and educational backgrounds. This data will be cross-referenced with information from public institutions. Based on budget availability and the assessment of student circumstances, a set number of students will receive scholarships, while others will be granted loans.

Each year, the amounts for KYK scholarships and loans are adjusted. Following an increase in January 2026, the bursary and loan amount was set at 4,000 Turkish lira for associate and undergraduate students. The new figures for the 2026-2027 academic year are expected to be announced in December.
