Kyrgyz President Japarov welcomes Albanian President Begaj in Cholpon-Ata

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov formally received Albanian President Bajram Begaj in the resort town of Cholpon-Ata, situated on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake. The official welcoming ceremony was held at the "Ruh-Ordo" cultural center, a venue known for its historical and cultural significance.

The ceremony commenced with the raising of the state flags of both Kyrgyzstan and Albania. A guard of honor was assembled, accompanied by 40 ethnic warriors, adding a traditional and ceremonial element to the event. President Japarov and President Begaj exchanged greetings before the commander of the guard of honor presented his report.

Following the report, the national anthems of Kyrgyzstan and Albania were played. The two heads of state then walked past the assembled military personnel, with President Begaj offering a salute, saying "Salute, soldier!" The leaders then proceeded to introduce the members of their respective official delegations to one another.

The welcoming ceremony concluded as the presidents moved to the Congress Hall of the State Residence No. 2. Here, they participated in a joint photo session before beginning their official negotiations. This meeting marks a significant diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
